Skipbeats
Solo project for experimental electronic music.
Composer / Producer / Sound Artist
Trained early in contemporary classical music, he won an award at Germany’s national young composers’ competition “Jugend komponiert” and learned the craft of classical recording in London. As founder of the band Kellerkommando he played the big festival stages, from Fusion to Oktoberfest, and later signed major deals with Warner and BMG.
Today he works across many fields at once. He scores feature films and series, such as “Die Geschichte der Menschheit – leicht gekürzt” (Pantaleon, cinema, later a Netflix Top 5 title) and “Sketch History” (Warner Bros., ZDF). He creates sonic branding for broadcasters and companies such as ZDF, SWR and Autohero, and scored the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026. For brands like KTM, Husqvarna, Mercedes and Campagnolo he has produced countless commercials.
As a songwriter and producer he moves between indie pop, rap and electronic music, working with artists including Max Mutzke, Bela B and Frida Gold. He has also written and produced songs for feature films such as “Die Schule der magischen Tiere 4” and “Resturlaub”. Since 2025 he has released his own experimental music as SKIPBEATS.
